Either way there is just enough base for subwoofer integration (as Dr. Toole told everyone to do for good base) + no low-end extension means more headroom. After all, he has owned the Bostons for I'm guessing a good decade or so, so anything different is going to sound, well, different. An Audio Purist Would Always Be An Audiophile! Reviews are one thing. From the first day, I knew these would be keepers and I purchased the review samples. It wasn't just my awareness that Revel's next-to-top-of-the-line loudspeaker was outstandingly good it seemed to perfectly match my space and my ears.
